2. He is such a great father and husband. He will do anything to make sure that we are all taken care of. He works so hard for all of us to make sure we have whatever we want.

4. He is not a social person.....unless he has to be. He would prefer to spend most of his free time on his couch with his family and not have to go or do anything with anyone! He is perfectly content with being at home with us, either watching t.v., playing games or just being. He loves to have us all cuddling in bed together watching Extreme Trains or something like that on the History channel or Discovery.
5. When I do make him socialize he takes it in stride most of the time. He is so funny and interesting and smart and just nice to be around. Most people like him instantly. He tries to put on some kind of gruff front, but anyone who knows him that he is not really that way. It's an act to keep people kind of at arms length, because he's not a social person.

7. He loves to be outdoors. There is no way in the world he could do any kind of job that kept him inside or in an office. He loves to camp, boat, ride horses, ride 4-wheelers. His dad always told him that when they were pack tripping up in the mountains, he always felt closer to God and Gary has that same opinion. He has always believed that we live in God's country. He has a goal of seeing all that he can right around him and getting to know the country really well. He always tells me that he doesn't need to go anywhere else for a vacation because there is so much here around us to explore, that we really don't need to go farther than Idaho, Wyoming and Montana.
8. Because he loves the outdoors so much and exploring, he loves to take road trips to nowhere. Ever since we got married we have taken many road trips around here and seen so many wonderful things. He is a very spur of the moment kind of guy and will wake up on a Saturday morning and decide we need to go somewhere. So we get the kids up, get them dressed, fill up a cooler with some food and start driving. We may end up in Yellowstone or Quake Lake and Virginia City or up in Montana in who knows where! A lot of times he'll let the kids decide and when we come to an intersection they get to choose which way we go. He will take the back roads anywhere he can. We went to Pocatello one day and did not ever touch I-15, and it took us 3 or 4 hours to get there! But it was such a blast and the kids and I love it. We have so much fun being together and seeing this wonderful State we live in.

10. We just fit together. When he hugs me I fit right into his arms and can't imagine a better, safer place to be.
