You see what happens when you finally get a free weekend to visit your friends?! They put you straight to work! Just kidding....we knew what we were getting into! So we ended up leaving Sierra home this weekend....all by herself! That was a little scary.....but good for all of us I think. She's such a good kid....and the reason she stayed home was that she was getting her first chance to get to go do baptism for the dead with our ward. I definitely did not want her to miss that opportunity. So, she stayed home and enjoyed the peace and quiet. We headed up to Victor to help out our bestest friends, Brooke and Aaron, with their house. The kids loved being out there helping out with whatever they could. It had been wet and muddy....so the barn boots were getting a lot of use between 4 adults and 7 kids.

Gary was setting up forms so they could pour concrete. They were supposed to have it all set up and ready to pour the next morning, but it took longer than expected....so he delayed the concrete till the next week so they could make sure it was set up right. He's kinda picky when it comes to his work and won't just settle for "good enough".

Kyle was a great helper. All of the kids are good little workers....when they want to be!

Brooke and I went for a little walk and I couldn't help taking a couple of pictures of the storm clouds. I kept thinking about my mom....she loves clouds! She takes pictures of them all the time.

So we stayed Friday and Saturday night. Saturday night, Brooke, Aaron, Gary, and I, and Aaron's brother David and his wife Olivia all went out together. We took all of the kids over to Aaron's sister's house, then we headed over to Jackson. We went up to Snow King and Brooke, David, Olivia and I all went on the alpine slide that they have. It was so much fun! I highly recommend it to everyone! And this is what happens when I give Gary the camera to take pictures of us coming down! See the pink spot in the corner.....yes, that is me!

Here comes Brooke.....

There is David. He kinda got a picture of Olivia......kinda.

After that, we had some time to kill before our dinner reservations, so we went up to Gary's jobsite. This is the house that he is currently working on. It's huge! But has some amazing views!

This is the view from the dining room! Gorgeous!

This is up on the third floor looking out of the library window.

A better look......absolutely stunning! This is definitely what you call million dollar views!

It was such a fun night. We had a great dinner and lots of great conversation. It was nice to just get out for a little while. We're pretty boring anymore, so we were back and had picked up the kids and ready for bed by midnight.....that is REALLY late in my book anymore! Funny how things change.
