Ward Campout
So I have been on the activities committee in our ward for about 5 /12 years now....we've been in this ward for 6 years. I LOVE this calling! Which is one of the reasons why I'm still on the committee...I won't let them release me! ;) So here are some pics from our annual ward campout. Gary and I were up there and cooking food by 11 am. Gary is the best! Even though he's not "officially" on the committee, he is part of it. He is a very intregal part of it! I couldn't do my job if it weren't for him. We went camping at Peck Ranch, this beautiful place just above Kilgore. It is so beautiful up there.
The kids were playing with rocks while we were cooking food. I'm so glad that they can easily(most of the time)entertain themselves.
Grace trying to get enough kids to come over and play with the parachute.
Sierra trying to take a nap, it was a beautiful day!
Joe and a bunch of the kids running around playing. Nothings better then the wide open spaces for lots of kids to run and play in. Plus they all got along so well, I don't remember any big fights between any of them....that's amazing!
Sitting around the campfire, waiting for some singing to start. Plus, I just have to point out the woman in the netting....that's my friend Kendra. The mosquitos and gnats were pretty bad at dinner time. So to save herself and her baby, she put on her net to eat and try to enjoy the outdoors.

Mike Parker, with his back to us, is our fearless leader for the Activities Committee.
Grace took these two pictures...the beautiful creek next to camp and this cool flower in the tree.
Sitting around on Saturday with the ladies while the guys are out working on the fence. Some days it's really nice to be a girl! ;)

My amazing sister!
So on the way home, we just got past the Kilgore store when Gary pulled over and made me check out the kids. This is Grace, Emmalee and Joseph all curled up together on the front seat of the pickup completely passed out! It had been a great weekend!
